Thought I'd post some tutorials up, since I got a snow day off of school today. (: Both of these tutorials are pretty simple, nothing super crazy or over the top. Also, both of these were made in Photoshop CS2, but I don't think these are translatable, sorry. ):
01. Open your base. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels. In the input, put in the values 0, 1.00, 238.
02. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color.
yellows: -24, -24, +100, +42
whites: +100, -19, -9, -9
neutrals: +8, -3, -6.
03. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves.
blue: 42, 37 & 215, 207
01. Open your base. Go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen Edges. The image immediately gets really sharp, so go to Edit > Fade Sharpen, and go ahead and lower the opacity to whatever suits your image. (Props to
rerapped for this trick :3 ♥)
02. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels. In the input, put in the values 11, 0.98, 244.
03. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color.
whites: +28, -1, +14, +20
neutrals: -4, -6, +3, +13
04. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves. Don't click anywhere and just go ahead and click OK. Set the layer to Soft Light at 25%.
