You don't post much, so I'm commenting much.
As for the hungry, I keep a thing of nuts in my desk. When I get hungry (usually at 10AM), I have a few (15) to kill the hunger. It usually works really well.

Yeah, I had already eaten my stash of dried fruit. Nuts sound like a good idea. Hrmmm...
