So I got all my shots today, and some scary stuff from the Traveler's Health clinic about not drinking the water and not walking alone and only eating fruit you peeled yourself and not taking candy from strangers. Yes. put them all in a plastic bag. Swallow said bag. Poop when you land.

The upside is if the bags burst in your stomach you'll just get really healthy.

There probably is some legal way to bring that kind of stuff in...

I'm not sure how many vitimins or packets thereof you plan to bring, but when I've smuggled dangerous drugs into Japan, like birth control pills and *gasp* Excederin, I've hidden them in rolled up socks or pockets of my pants and shorts. Also, when I first came over I brought a bunch of tampons. I put the tampons in a big clear bag, and hid some bottles of pills within it. Only a really desperate and suspicious customs official will bother sorting through your tampons. ;)

Is Guatamala really worried about people smuggling drugs and vitamins in? What are the customs laws about it anyway? It may be perfectly legal to bring them. You should be able to find the laws on... probably the Guatamalian embassy's English website.
