Dogs do different things when they get excited. Gwen used to hop (which is unusual for a Rottweiler); Fancy twirls in tight circles (doughnuts). I've noticed that Fancy always goes widdershins (counter-clockwise); and that got me thinking...

My dog is part cattle dog and he usually goes counter clockwise :)

My gurls, mother is AKC golden and about 11yrs old and is too old and proud to spin; however, Luca her pup of 3yrs age spins any which way she wants - especially when wrangling with mother!
