I had to look up caprice to be sure; now I have another movie to see. That description seems hauntingly accurate. I'm not sure how pessimistic I am, but I do often err on the side of caution with finances & matters of the heart. I have often fancied myself a bit of an Auntie Mame; and I've often self-described as a social nexus, not central to any group, but touching many. At least one of my Ex's said that he didn't like it when I turned "on" - with great power, comes great responsibility, or something like that.
