The shooting at the Al Rosa Villa is one of the most horendous things I have ever heard about. My boyfriend, Matt, has played there several times as have many of his friends' bands. In fact, he knew everyone in the three opening acts. The band that was playing on stage at the time was Damageplan, a national act. Someone (we're not sure who) jumped the patio fence (its a tall security fence) and entered the side door. Unarmed security chased him through the crowd. He entered the stage (Stage Right) walked across to Stage Left, grabbed the guitarist by the head and shot him three times. Everything from there is fairly hazy. From what I understand, another band member was shot. Then a security guard tackled him. The security guard was shot. The guy got up RELOADED ON STAGE and shot into the crowd. Some of the crew members and some audience members were hurt. The police came into the venue, saw the guy on stage, and shot him. Matt's best friend, Brian, runs the lights there and we had to park a quarter of a mile away to pick
