I have books. I am, however, a cheap bastard, so I've never invested in "nice" bookshelves. As a result, I sometimes fashion plywood shelving and not bother to finish it because it is, after all, plywood, or out of desparation I spring for some Ikea monstrosity and call it good. Sadly, because these are Ikea monstrosities, I never buy enough

Finally, a proper home for the glass head.

The glass head? Think back, and you should remember that you gave me a glass head for Xmas some years back, a clear one stuffed with a weather balloon and toys. That started the whole headphone/headset setter trend.

That glass head is currently holding my headphones near my stereo, and will (if the plans pan out) hold them in a new and improved box in an opposite shelf system yet to be started.

I got the purple one at a yard sale after we got the new phone with its headset.

Thanks! I tried many different stain and finish combos before settling on Golden Oak with a shiny polyurethane top coat (5 coats -- that took a while).

I was iffy about the box until I saw the head with the headset in it. WIN!
