Round 5: Scott
Hugh Scott is determined to have 10 children, so last time the Scott's welcomed baby #5; a little girl named Lilly. Diana achieved her IW of maxing all skills, while still trying to work her way up the Gamer track...even though she doesn't get much time to work since she's almost always pregnant. A couple of the kids had birthdays, while Diana found herself pregnant with baby #6 at the end of the round. Also, as a side note, I got tired of kids in this hood being born with crazy skintones that are not my defaults, so I went into SimPE and changed them. You'll see that in the family picture at the end of this round that I changed Holly and Lilly to my normal light default.
This round, the Scott family rolled both a minor ROS and a major one. The major one was obviously for Hugh to become a werewolf! If you can believe it, he's the first werewolf I've ever had in my game! It looks good on him.
Diana is always rolling wants for Hugh to howl, so he goes around howling a lot. Hey, whatever floats her boat.
The minor ROS was for Diana to get a makeover, which I must admit, was much needed. So Hugh's oldest daughter, Adrianna Wilcox, accompanied her pregnant step-mom to the mall to pick out some new clothes.
Her makeover turned out to be awesome! She looks so much better now!
Hugh might be a hairy, scary monster now, but he still loves all his kids. And they don't seem to be too frightened of him. This is baby #5, Lilly.
There's nothing that turns Hugh on more than a pregnant Diana!
Aaron and Holly are still close friends, even though most siblings in this town don't seem to get along or even notice each other's presence.
Adrianna has also been good about building relationships with all her half-siblings. This was her week to live with her dad, so she made the most of it by spending time with the kids.
But, she's also a teenager and has friends outside the home too. Her current BFF is Brooke Merrick, who is only one simday younger than her. They spend a lot of time talking about boys, even though there aren't any playable boys around their age. Well, Aaron Scott is technically around their age. He's one simday younger than Brooke, so maybe those two will strike up a relationship once he has his teen birthday.
Little Joshua had his childhood birthday, and boy is he cute! I think he's going to be a heartbreaker when he gets older!
And baby Lilly turned into toddler Lilly. She's one of the ones who got a skintone change at the end of the round! She's a Gemini (2/8/9/7/4).
Her werewolf daddy immediately starts in on the toddler training. He's got this childcare stuff down to a T.
Joshua maxed his science hobby, which is his OTH.
Which earned him the science hobby plaque. In this challenge you get points for households that have all hobby plaques. So far, the Scotts only have 2.
Remember Diana was pregnant again after last round? Well here comes baby #6!
And it's another girl! They name her Kelly. She's got a tan skintone from her mom, and also brown eyes and brown hair. She is Diana all over!
Life goes on as normal around the house. New babies are not big news around here. Holly makes friends with Lindsay Ward, who is only 2 simdays younger than her.
Aaron brings over Seth Moran for some smustling. Seth is much younger than Aaron, so I don't think they'll have any real friendship until they're adults, if then even.
Diana enjoys a little dancing herself. Still loving her makeover!
Hugh finally reached the top of the Artist career track. It's not his LTW, but it does earn a point for the challenge. Each sim can earn 1 point for topping a career, max 2 careers I believe.
Aaron had his teenage birthday, and looks pretty good. He chooses Family/Romance for his aspirations with "Graduate 3 Kids from College" as his LTW. Just like his dad.
The four oldest kids are getting older by the minute! They're out of the difficult toddler days, but there's still 2 more in the nursery and I'm sure Diana is pregnant again by this point!
Before her pregnancy shows however, Diana is able to sneak in one day of work and comes home with a promotion to Button Masher. At least she's making forward progress, no matter how slow.
And then Diana had a want for Hugh to turn her into a werewolf. If she wanted it, why is she fighting him like that?
Aww, that's better. Now they are happy werewolves in love again.
And they are definitely still as romantic as ever, even in their more boring human forms.
One of the kids had a want to adopt a puppy, so they did. Meet little Princess.
With four kids in school, and Adry moving out next round to go back to live with her mom, Hugh decides it's time to try to get them into Private School. It seems werewolves in their underwear don't lose points with this headmaster.
None of the family even has dinner with the guy. But a visiting neighbor, Jeremy Jackson, does it for them. The Scott's have so many kids that the poor headmaster probably doesn't even realize this isn't one of the kids he came to interview.
The Scott's pass their inspection and the four oldest kids are admitted to the prestigious Private School of Bakersfield.
During the Headmaster's visit, little Kelly turns into a very cute toddler. She's a Virgo (10/4/6/4/10).
And of course, Diana is pregnant again. This time though, the baby was conceived while Hugh was a werewolf but before Diana became one, I'm using a somewhat realistic genetic formula found in this tutorial by rikkulidea to determine if she inherits Hugh's werewolf trait, which would become evident on her teen birthday. So I guess we'll have to wait and see if this baby inherits the werewolf gene!
And the new baby was born on the last day of the round and is yet another girl, with yet another skintone to be fixed! Her name is Rachel and she's got light skin from Hugh, and brown eyes and hair from Diana.
They are back at it again! And of course, Diana becomes pregnant again! This baby will have an even higher chance of being a werewolf since it was conceived while both parents have the werewolf gene. But we won't see this baby until round 6!
Hugh goes to work on the last day and ends up costing the family $10,000 while also losing 2 charisma points on a failed chance card. Way to go there, big guy.
Diana sneaks in another day of work and gets another promotion. This time to Trash Talker. She sure is moving up in the Gaming world! Slow and steady wins the race!
Also on the last day, Lilly had her childhood birthday. Can't wait to see her with her new skintone, though.
