Wow, someone else who likes Crowley! I've been on a mammoth kick for him during the past year, and it all leaves me a bit wordless but decidedly smitten. The Aegypt series is next on my list.
Me, too - he's incredible! I would never have heard of him but for a recommendation from Elizabeth Hand, who's got quite a different style but is certainly a kindred spirit. (One of her short stories is a tribute to Crowley - it's called "The Least Trumps.") Have you read the new one on Lord Byron? I've come so close to picking it up a number of times but for once in my life am trying to exercise restraint. We'll see how long that lasts! The main library downtown thankfully has a great selection. I'll return Love & Sleep soon so that you can enjoy it, too. Though I don't suppose you need extra reading right now.

Oh, pfft. I'm far worse than you at correspondence, so no doubts here! You're missed, too, Joie - I look forward to hearing from you whenever you have time to write. I wish I could see you in person but the chances of finding myself in Chicago in the next thirty days are pretty slim.
