39 weeks here, and still totally pregnant. On Thursday my midwife had the nerve to tell me I'd probably be pregnant at least another week. Now, seriously. Don't I pay her to be positive and make up happy stuff to tell me? :P Where are my sunshine-and-rainbows predictions? Blah

Poor Kali. Silly cat. I have a beam running across my living room, about 12 feet up. One of my cats used to love climbing out on it to bask in the sunshine that comes in through the dormer window above it. She was doing that one day when someone came into the house and startled the crap out of her. She jumped.
