I believe that being a reserve writer means that if somebody on Team Awesomest drops out, then your fic goes up. We also get bonus points if all regular Team The-Best-Team-Ever members get their fics in and you do. Though, you may not want to quote me on this, because I'm not a mod of lilyjames_fest (though, sometimes I forget, the amount I talk to museme87 - which is to say all the time). :D
