I really need to schedule a reread one of these days. I haven't read it from cover to cover since the year between FOTR and TTT when I read it for the first time.

yes you should! It is really eye opening how many things you fall in love with again and also what characters or events you really want to learn more about and you feel like it's a new wonderful thing you're discovering because there are so many ways to look at something. :)
