Yes, that struck me too when i was reading this! So much description of the different flowers and such! I hope i pronounced it right! =)

Those flowers were hard to pronounce and i have not heard of some of them! Tolkien really liked his flowers! =)
Ithilien was a great rest stop before the darkness of Shelob and Mordor!

This is my favorite chapter in book IV with Sam's proclamation of love while Frodo sleeps and noticing his beauty and light. I wish you had read that far? Is that coming or did someone do that?

We are before that chapter--think three chapters off but yes, i do love that passage as well. I think we will read that in "Journey to the Crossroads" . We have not read that yet so stay tuned! Or you can yourself volunteer for that!

I don't know out of hand either in which chapter that scene happens. But if you'd like to join us, antane, we'd be more than happy! It would be lovely to have another lover of the characters and books join us in the readings.
