This is a birthday mathom inspired by the awesome Bilbo teaser poster pic that was released last week by Peter Jackson and friends at Warner Bros. Gosh, i love that shot.

What a wonderful little tale to go with the poster! It captures what must have been poor Bilbo's feelings at the time. I like that this ends with a small bit of hope too because hobbits are such hopeful people. They look for the good and in spite of Bilbo's dire situation and is worries he can still see some small chance that things will come out right at the end of it all.

The perfect birthday mathom! I hope your birthday was special, Baggins. Hope you don't mind if I like to this so others that might have missed it can find it. : )

Thank you dear Shirebound! :hugs: I think the timestamp may have been a problem because i posted this privately at first and then when i switched, the timing didn't adjust appropriately so it didn't show in the friends list. :p

Yes, I discovered that I need to copy/paste private entries into new entries so they show up in my friends list as 'current'. I'm so glad GW linked to this.
