Lol! Yes, I guess that would ease the shock of seeing the deviations on the big screen. I heard a rumor that upset me, but in listening to Peter speak at the SDCC panel, it may have been a false rumor. We'll see! It was about who died at the end. I dread seeing that, I'll have to take a whole box of tissues to the theater with me! I do enjoy the movies, hate the deviations, but still enjoy watching them for the parts I LOVE...like Bilbo. Martin is perfect in my mind! And I LOVE the character Balin. He draws me in, like an old and dear father! However, I really detest what Peter did with Radagast; I have no doubt a wizard would not go around with bird poop on his face, no matter how much he loves the birds. And the conflicts in Laketown were a letdown. I guess Smaug is my biggest disappointment...I was so looking forward to the part in the mountain when he first detects Bilbo. And the outrageous deviations in the mountain REALLY turned me off. That whole part and then pouring gold on the dragon was just too much. *sigh* I

omg did you go to Comic Con? That is awesome if you did!
omg, you must tell me who PJ will have die! I need to go in there with the least expectations as possible. I will think that anything is game in PJ's fanfic. :p I just hope that it will not tank like second movie which really isn't that hard of an expectation, is it?
I love Balin and Bilbo too-- there should be more scenes of them! If PJ focused a little more on character development and less on battle, it would already be a better movie but i don't think that would happen. Think movie three will show the most action since the title has already been changed to reflect the importance of the Battle of Five Armies.

And the outrageous deviations in the mountain REALLY turned me off. That whole part and then pouring gold on the dragon was just too much. *sigh* I guess they thought it would have been too boring a movie. lol
I totally agree.

Smaug was the biggest let down in DoS-- i hated that last 20 minutes of cat and mouse in DoS. Sooooo dumb and i nearly cried with frustration

I do like the poster. It is a very excellent poster and I wish the film were going to be as good as the poster. hehehe

i'm squee-ing a lot. That teaser is great. I do love the poster a lot though. It the next movie had more Bilbo, already it would be a win. I hope that i can share my drabble/ficlet thing soon with you! =)

I most definitely caught myself refreshing repeatedly while walking the Stairmaster and oscillating between 100 and 110 steps a minute, then while doing planks, haha. And today rewatched some more through my glute workout. fun stuff
