I wrote this ficlet a while ago and had some feedback on it but am quite nervous posting this because it's Sam/Rosie and i don't usually write that... heh.. My sister actually told me to write something mushy-ish/fluffy (she likes my wee!hobbit stuff haha) because she likes fluff and this is quite fluffy yet i think it's quite mushy too ( Read more... )

aww thanks GW! i'm glad that you liked this...i don't usually write romance so i'm glad that it was sweet and not too sappy or anything.
It's a scene that i envisioned a lot and wanted it to be written...seems interesting to me to read something about how Rosie and Sam would be after the Quest so i'm glad the plot bunny came. :)

The relationship between Sam and Rose is such a great romance. I love stories about the two of them and their courtship and marriage.

aww thanks Claudia! I think indeed Rosie was what kept Sam thinking forward during the Quest as Rosie was mentioned a whole lot in the Mount Doom chapter and all during Sam and Frodo's time in Mordor...so i'm glad to write a missing scene to how they thought when they weren't with each other for so long.

yeah me too-- I think Rosie is a strong lass loves Sam too much to give up on Sam...i'm glad she waited for Sam to come back too. :)

THanks for liking this, Janet! I really like Rosie and really imagine her being a gelling force for her family and it was really cool when her father and brothers rallied together during the Battle of Bywater...
