Better is very good. Gawande did my thyroid surgeries, so I grabbed it straight away. He just did another article for the New Yorker too, on aging, that's interesting.

You should also look for How Doctors Think, although I can't remember the author's name at the moment. Grooptman? Something like that...

oh wow ! that's so cool that Dr. Gawande did the surgeries for you..i didn't know that. I would love to read the New Yorker article too-- thanks for the heads up about that.

I got Final Exam A Surgeon's Reflections on Mortality first so i think i'll read that before "Better" and "How Doctors Think"---though i heard that this one is pretty good too. :)
