Oh, next week it's TCOH time!! I hope my Amazon.co.uk pre-order is going to arrive (I hope I didn't do anything wrong and the post men deliver the package neatly....) *crosses fingers*

Have fun in DC! I've been there too *beams* and I totally loved the Smithsonian with all the planes hanging on the ceiling!

Psstt, here are all the LOTR transcrips you would want. Your truely has worked on it too.

The trailer won't work. It loads but I can't press play.

Have you read it already? I only know the version from Sil and adore it! If it's worth buying I might do so but if it is only more or less a copy from Sil I keep my Sil :)

Have fun in DC! *hugs*

i'm sorry to hear that the trailer won't work fo ryou--- do you need to install a Flash Player or something?

It's probably some overlap with Sil but here's what was said about it:
The Children of Hùrin was one of three Great Tales begun by J.R.R. Tolkien as he recovered from the horrors of the First World War, and he worked on refining and improving it for the rest of his life. This tragic tale of adventure, heroism, suffering and love stands as one of the finest expressions of his skills as a storyteller and the narrative is as powerful as anything contained within The Lord of the Rings. Painstakingly reconstructed by Christopher Tolkien from his father’s manuscripts, it can finally be enjoyed as the author originally intended. So there *will* be additional material probably and to have it as one full-length book is interesting too ( ... )
