Thank you! No one should think of underestimating hobbits! Indeed it's interesting to think of what he thought of his father's story about Bilbo's adventure with them.

The last chance to prove the worth of my kind lies in this Quest and may I not leave the Ring-bearer until I see that his Quest be completed.

It wasn't until I really REALLY read The Silmarillion this year that I realized how tragic the Dwarves' history is. Gimli really did revive his Race's respect, honor, and place in Middle-earth.

THe pride and honor that Dwarves have really inspired me in the first Gimli drabble--i think they're underestimated a bit too in Middle-earth.

Frodo was indeed very brave right from the start! I have this icon that always reminds me that he does have the weight of the world on his shoudlers...
