Dreams vs reality, wants vs needs, goals vs process,foucus vs diversity.
For myself passions for projects will cool, when a new shiny appears, but I find that there are two kinds of projects. The ones I do for fun, knowing that they may be doomed or never completed, or the ones I always return to to push towards completion( or further along the road in any case).
Also go out and meet people is good. Not over the net, of course. I find that some times when my creativity and motivation is at and end as a teacher, a social friday beer goes a long way towards reaching a new "up". The stimuli of talking shop, or just the crazyness of the mood and talking rubbish is really something worth pursuing sometimes. You never know what it might be you need at the time, but it feels good after.
Of course other times I dig a hole an sit in it for awhile...
