I thought I would ask here because most of the imp storage discussions on the forum seem to only bring up US sources for buying ammo cases etc ( Read more... )

That sounds a lot like what I've been planning to make out of pretty card... but I have loads of imps/other samples and so far haven't got around to actually making anything for them. (Some are currently standing in a box filled with rice which works but isn't awfully practical.)

Looks like you've got it sorted but I came across this place last week. http://www.thegunshop.co.uk/mtm.htm

The interesting ones are second from the bottom on the page.

Thanks, those look exactly like the ones all the US forumites are talking about. Let me know how they work out if you end up ordering any! :)

Let us know, when they arrive, if they are as good as they look. I was just about to order a couple but my computer has died and I need to get it fixed before I spend on anything else. Hubby and MIL are already sick of me 'borrowing' theirs. :)

My mum got me a vial box from her work, they're used for Lab samples. It's really good, but I can't get any more.

Now imp lid labels which stick, that I would be interested in!

I don't have specific boxes but I use the polystyrene blocks that come with lab testing vials, they hold 100 imps with the labels rolled. I just shove them in the bottom of my big wooden bpal box of doom but they'd fit into the bottom of file boxes. They're 17.5 cm x 15 cm x 3 cm high.

If anyone wants one, I have about 5 at the moment, email me your address (seelie dot court at gmail dot com) and I'll stick one in the post. If you really want to be nice, send me something back when you get it.

I haven't found imp lid labels which stick properly but I have found glue dots help.

I also got a hot glue gun recently. *dangerous gleam* a spot of that on an imp lid under a sticker works pretty well.
