NGL I don't think I ship anything slash on this show at all, but this felt right. I could see it happening this way in the far back reaches of my mind, that Cas gives up and Dean, again, begs for help and for something to fight for, and someone to fight for him. Well done!

I can see this on the show: Cas lost his faith; why not drown himself in women, wine, and song, so to speak? Not that it's, y'know, a good idea or anything, seeing as "The End" Castiel made me scream NO! at my TV. Or maybe it is. Smoking!Cas turns me on big time.
