[It takes a few minutes for Finland to respond, and even when he does it's not too difficult to tell that his voice is laced with fake cheer.]

Moi! Do you need to talk?

[HIM TOO. Thanks, Mayfield.]

Ah, Finland... ah, I just... it's been a strange few days. Are you alright....?

Enough about me. Are you alright?

Yeah. I-I'm good now that it's finally over … I never thought I'd be glad to see normal Mayfield again.

Aisling… did you get through Christmas okay?

wolf_faerie December 29 2010, 13:18:31 UTC
I wasn't hurt...but I didn't like my gift. At all.

That's good. I'm sure no one got gifts from the town that they actually wanted. I know I didn't either.

...Thank goodness, you're finally awake.

The better question is what you need, Crowe. A lot has happened on Christmas, but thankfully, things are calming down. Do you need anything? If you don't mind, I'd like to come over now, so if there were any errands that you were thinking of running, I can help. [Because intuition tells her that he can use company right now, above all else.]

Miss Ciel …do you know, was I asleep the last few days, o-or...

Ah, well, I suppose I do have to do my paper route …

...Somewhat. No one could get to you, so it seems like you were trapped in a really bad nightmare. Have you taken a warm shower yet? Maybe eat something hot, too; you should feel better after.

Your paper route? ...Don't worry about it. I doubt that anyone is interested to read the same news again, but if you're really worried, I can do it for you. It won't take long. [She's serious. Being able to hop on house roofs and having good aim means that she'll have the whole town done in less than half an hour, tops. :|b]

I was awake, though?

[Well he is pretty damn hungry as he's barely eaten in the last three days. His appetite will return with a vengence soon.] Ah, you're probably right. A shower sounds great right about now.

Actually, it's alright, I can handle it. I could use the fresh air to be honest. Thanks, though.

Sorry if I worried you. There was really nothing I could do about it. I-It's over now though, thankfully.

I'm fine now, though I don't know if I can say the same about everyone else...

What... what had happened? Are people still... Ah, I guess it depended on what sort of letter they sent to "Santa".

Yes, it seems people got their wishes granted, but in the worst possible ways. I had my memory taken from me entirely.

Typical Mayfield for you... I would have never written that letter, except that it was like I was... compelled to. I'm sure the same thing happened to every one who passed by one of those mail boxes.

But... you're alright now, yes? How long did it last?
