I'm so sorry for the whole situation. :( I hope you're o.k.

Thank you sweetie. I'm hoping up for now. I had to watch my mom break down into tears while on the phone talking with the social worker this morning; she's my rock and the strongest person I know, and to see that was downright terrifying.
Rich came home while I was out at class, now it's just like a waiting game. I feel selfish thinking this way, but I kind of want him to go while I'm on campus during the day. I don't want to be there when it happens, and I don't know how I'll feel afterwards like going to the room where he is. (Which is our living room just sans couches and stuff.)

I'm sorry to ask, but will it be long? :( Not wanting to be there is perfectly understandable, I think. <3 The whole thing is just difficult and I can't even imagine what any of you are going through. I hope you're all doing as o.k. as can be just now. *hugs*

We really don't know how long. My mom said the Hospice aids "know the telltale signs" when it's close. I don't think more than a couple weeks, he's just not doing well. Just moving him around hurts him, and he's not very responsive.
Thank you for your thoughts. It really means a lot to me. <3
