A brilliant lawyer was taken from all those he loved on Monday. Will Gardner will be remembered for his brilliant mind and strategy in the court room. He will also be remembered for caring about those who mattered to him and who he considered family.
William Paul Gardner was born September 15, 20171 in Maryland. Playing baseball throughout high school, he was accepted to the University of Maryland on a baseball scholarship. There he majored in Pre-law. He was accepted and graduated from Georgetown Law School in Washington, DC.

Growing restless, Will moved to Chicago to join the firm of Lockhart and Stern. He eventually became a named partner making the firm, Lockhart, Gardner, and Stern. Will and his partners continued to grow the firm handling some of the biggest cases in Chicago.

Will is survived by his parents, his sister, and his many friends in Chicago
Louisa May Alcott was born November 29 in Germantown Pennsylvania to Amos and Abby Alcott. When Louisa was 6, she and her family moved Boston where her father would teach. After several years, when Louisa was 8, the family moved to Concord, Massachusetts.

Growing up in Concord, Louisa May had interactions with some of the leading minds of the time such as Thoreau, Emerson, Hawthorne, and Fuller. These interactions would give her the experiences needed to write some of the best love books of all time.

She is survived by her sisters, Anna Broson Alcott, and was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Sewall "Lizzie" Alcott and Abigail May Alcott
