Saint Clements Castle; Portland, Connecticut, Saturday [ 08/08 ]. -- Reception.

The main event was finished (and not even...too much of a disaster...right?) and now it was time to fully celebrate the happy new couple, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Cooper.

With a lot of drinks, a lot of food, some dancing and hopefully nothing weird. The reception rooms of the Saint Clements were impeccably decorated and welcoming, and it was sure to be

Because, while it isn't far from where the ceremony took place, there's still some mingling to be had before dinner, drinks to be gotten from the open bar, and people who show up just for the reception that weren't at the wedding, ahem.

"You're from the Middle East?" Then just to test him added in Farsi, "I'm part-Persian."

Biff switched effortlessly. "I'm Israeli," he replied, "but I haven't been home in a while." He grinned. "How's your Aramaic?"

"You got one up on me, I only have Farsi and Spanish in my arsenal." Passable Spanish at that. Passable meaning, she doesn't mangle it so much but people would wonder that the hell she was talking about if she spoke longer than five minutes.

"Spanish is very handy," Biff agreed. "I used it to mess with a," angel who held him captive would make him sound crazy, "completely annoying guy I once knew. It's useful to have multiple languages."

He was sooo not letting Barney near this girl. Barney'd declare part-Farsi the new half-Asian.

"Partner as in cop thing," Dani said quickly because she and Crews weren't, they were just. He was her partner. Dani's mood shifted quickly from playful to something a lot more serious.

Biff had no idea where he'd misstepped--normally he was so good at this!--and he looked confused. "It's not like I, you know, hang out with the guy or anything."

He was all tall and loomy. Biff was...not at all loomy.
