The arguing that Quinn and Santana do in this chapter is in character. The one major fight we've gotten to see between these two on the show was in Auditions and they fought with the same kind of ruthlessness.
I've already all of this story so I kind of feel like I'm cheating writing this review because I already know where everything is going, but I'll write what I felt when I first read it: Slightly heartbroken and the story has just gotten started.
Hey, there! Thanks so much for the review! Firstly, I'm really glad that you feel their arguing is in-character. Feeling authentic is probably always my number 1 goal. Writing an argument can be tricky, and with Quinn and Santana, it can be even more so since they're both aggressive, yet there still needs to be a difference in the way they speak and fight since they are in many ways different people. I actually remember drawing off of the fight scene in "Audition" to help this chapter, so it's funny you bring that up :)
HAHAHA, I don't think that's cheating! I think you get a new perspective reading things a second time -- not to mention I'm flattered that you're READING a second time and sharing your thoughts with me. I really, really appreciate it and am so glad you've enjoyed/are enjoying it <3
