i had a hell of a lot of fun playing pico yesterday, but i don't think you can really get the most out of it unless you're willing to plunk down mad dough. its one of those free to play deals and micro transcation based. i tried playing today, but found that the content i had access to the day before i had to pay for. so hmmm....you could still chat tho i guess and the have rooms in various languages.
