Also, the rumor I heard (I nearly wrote heart, which is so appropriate) is that McGann will be CAMEOING in the episode as the Doctor.

I would so like to believe you and take comfort in the idea that Eight was in the Journal, which is an argument I used, but then they could just handwave it as Doctor being out of it and believing McGann!Eight was his Eight.

I would like to believe and feel the warm comforts of optimism close around me. But I don't deny there is a horror within me. :| Because some of the crappiest rumours have turned out to be true in this show.

If McGann had a cameo, I would squee so hard you'd be able to hear it Antarctica. And it'd ruin penguin migration. I really, very hope very much that you're right.
