Lovely! I wished I could have seen this fight! :) Upset Stephen and Diana glowing with victory :) Or should one imagine Jack holding Stephen close to his broad chest and soothing his swordsmaster? Both! :)
Confession time: The duel scene was the first I wrote. The whole point of the sequel was: Could anyone best Stephen in a duel? Wouldn't it be funny it it was a WOMAN, and one no one else thought was any good? And if so, who would it be? But then the answer was obvious *g*
*g* indeed :) Why not yield to a woman you are conscious or unconsciously in love with? Or destined to marry? It's his fate. Besides - he is bonded to Jack.

I really hate LJ management and am trying to get off this platform as much as possible, so I don't add any new friends, and I drop the ones who have also moved on (most of them).
