It is well that Stephen has Jack to comfort him, even when he fears his dreams, he knows that Jack is there for him. Thank you for this, it was a very good little addition to the Advent! :)

"Plaintively, Jack replies, “It is Sophie, you see. She would be very cross if I didn’t.”
“I see. It is a conspiracy then.”
Against his neck Jack is nodding. “Yes. I suppose it is.”"

What a beautiful story - Jack always looking out for Stephen, and Stephen in delirium drifting around the sea of his mind trying to make sense of it all. And yet, ultimately, knowing he is loved and safe.

Thank you for your kind comment. I really do think these two are just perfect together and am very happy to have conveyed something of that.

Oh, how I wish I had a Jack to keep me warm in this frigid weather! Stephen knows just how lucky he is...but he still has to complain a bit. ;-)

He wouldn't be showing his affection for Jack if he didn't argue!

This is just so beautiful; I love it. I didn't want it to come to an end, I just wanted to keep reading this for ever...

It is such a gorgeous combination of happy and sad, hopeful and wistful, security and anxiety all swaddled up together - much like Stephen in his blankets.

Thank you - this is a wonderful gift for us!
