The Oakum Meme
Are there not situations in the books and the movie where, instead of asking yourself What happens next, your question is rather What happens in between?
In this meme we would like to hear of these situations. Just as oakum is used for packing the joints of timbers in wooden vessels, the requests and subsequent fanworks will tell those In-Between stories.
We invite Oakum prompts from the Aubreyad books and from the movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
Please to bold your prompts, and to include the title and, if possible, the chapter when you chose from the books. We welcome fic, artwork, vids of all ratings; in short your imagination shall know no bounds

We have not quite found a substitute for the lack of subject headers, apart from moving the meme completely to DW which we may have to do should this meme not work out. It is therefore going to be a bit more complicated. Please note:
