Food, wine and company. We had a great time. Iguazu falls are truly impressive. They sit in the Argentina-Brazil border and you take two trips there: one from the Argentinian side, in which you walk the catwalks in the jungle and down to the side of the waterfalls, which is pretty impressive. We also took a boat that takes you to the base of a few of those falls.. which is like a roller coaster on the water, real fun. Then from the Brazilian side you get a view from afar, and of the other side of the cataracts. Pretty impressive all in all, and not difficult at all.
A well-deserved break, I'm sure. The waterfalls are truly breathtaking... despite the amount of people. We dutifully did all the touristy things though-
There were a lot of people moving around, so it was also very difficult to get a clear shot, and the spray and the clouds didn't give a clear light but anyway, the landscape itself was really gorgeous!
sorry again. Also looks like LJ got pretty silent in the year I was gone..Guess everybody went to tumbl'r..
I got hooked onto Malbec the year I spent at my Ecuadorian friend's. She's part Argentinian, and so it's Malbec at her home. Me having lived in Chile, I'm more partial to CArmenere, but I ended up loving the Malbec. THough I must say we found a few really goo Syrah as well!
