Last Wednesday: went to Alton Towers (the theme park, ye non-Brits). Was great. Went on all the big, scary rides and was hideously brave. Presumably, therefore, there's a crisis point somewhere in Gwynedd's history where some prince called Owain decided that the name Maredudd was a bit gay. I think there's a thesis in there. Or at least a tantalising prelim essay question.
