I kept clicking on link, and it kept taking me to Lovely Bones writer info.. and i thought, mahala is really excited about Lovely Bones writer? .. heheh..

how was germaine greer? i've read a few editorials/articles she's written for Guardian G2.. so far, not my style that woman. but one of those people where i gotta give some respect eh?

anyway. at least once in your life, you needed to be working at a bookstore in london that has many exciting writers come visit. and he's a frequent visitor there isn't he? which is more dangerous, a mahala let loose in a book store, or candy store? i'm so excited for you! hehe. we should warn london of possible mahala spontaneous self-combustions on certain days... ;)

I'm actually really excited about the Peter Jackson film...I can't wait to see what his version of heaven looks like.

Mahala let loose in a bookstore is actually fairly safe, as she reads all desired books during her breaks (and the few lulls between customers), and so doesn't feel the urge to buy any books! hooray!

Mom's advice on the Neil event: "It's ok to worship him...just do it professionally." XD

Oh ho, your card takes me to livejournal.

Remedios Varo is the name I couldn't recall, of the painter who was friends with Leonora Carrington and who was a really obvious influence on Edward Gorey.

Thanks for telling me of the Shaun Tan website. And for entertaining me.
