Weird ponderings

I hope I finally resolved my boy drama for the next long, long while. With all that has gone on, I feel like I am back in high school, expect I never had this kind of drama even then. Ignoring the fact that "postmodern" has lost all its meaning, I am so tired of all the postmodern hate. People sling that word around like it makes someone a murderer. It doesn't. It's highly debatable whether it is even BAD. Also, if we are living in a postmodern time, and you are a woman... what else is to be expected?

And I have no idea what it would even begin to mean in the context of a relationship.

Exactly. What does post modern mean? Even those who proudly proclaim themselves to be that can't even define the term.

I think he was saying I shouldn't put off a relationship and focus only on my career. I don't even know if I have a career unless "professional nomad" counts. At any rate, he seemed concerned that life (or a husband) would pass me by if I was out there just being me. Oh well. I shouldn't give him too much grief as he really (obviously) doesn't understand me.

Clearly. It's for the best, then. You seem to be doing pretty well, which is good.

Oh yes, I am perfectly fine turning him down. Someday he will find some woman on those terms, but it won't be me. It's funny though; I am not much of a feminist, but that is just too much for me.
