What are your religious beliefs?

I don't really think about religion much. Too busy working at the Ministry for Magic, you know! I suppose I believe in God and angels and heaven and all of that. I don't believe in hell. That bit never made much sense to me. My family was never much for going to church aside from weddings and christenings and whatnot, though I confess that I do ( Read more... )

hey there - this is both Ginny and Harry's mun!
there is a possibility that there will be some "war" plot arising soon and as Percy is quite a key character with this I was wondering if you want to participate?
I really hope you do as it would be so good to actually get to the soft gooeey centre of the Harry Potter- verse!

Owl arrives for Percy carrying a parcel... ginny_red December 24 2004, 23:57:17 UTC
The parcel is wrapped in red paper and there is an envelope attacted.
Inside the envelope is a Christmas card with a picture of a snowy Hogwarts on it, the message inside read:
" Happy Christmas Percy,
I hope you like the present I sent, I'm not very good yet but at least I tried!

Love your sis, Ginny xxx"

Inside the parcel is a hand knitt navy blue jumper with a bright orange "P" on it, although one of the sleeves is slightly too long than the other.

Percy was astonished when he unwraps Ginny's gift and sees that it is a jumper just like the ones that their mother used to make for him, right down to the letter 'P' on the front. It reminds him of the jumper that he had sent back to Molly, that first Christmas after he left the family. Surely Ginny wasn't trying to remind him of that terrible day! No. She had signed her card, Love. She meant well, even if she had startled him and brought back memories that he had tried so hard to bury.

Percy wrote out a thank you note and gave it to Hermes to deliver. Tucked in the envelop along with the card was a small but elegant gold brooch.

What is the basic plotline? I'm not sure what you mean by the soft gooey centre of the HP-verse. I rather think that the 'centre' of this particular story is dark and bloody, not soft and gooey.
