Summary: Set ten years after Titan's Curse. Percy finds a way to tell Annabeth that she's not the one for him.
Notes: This was written between Titan's Curse and the next book. Battle of the Labyrinth, I think. Honestly

But I find it very difficult to believe that Percy would ever take drugs or alcohol. He just seems like such a... good kid that he wouldn't. Not that you're not "good" if you do those things. But he wouldn't take alcohol.
Also, I, personally, always saw the Percy/Thalia pairing as something of a competition. Beating up on friends, etc. It's not a partnership or anything so much as a.... possibility of feelings both would deny. I felt some attraction reading TTC, but I didn't think it was anything either would actually cop to or take seriously.
(Though I'm a hard-core Thalia/Luke shipper and I only dislike the pairings which interfere with it. Also, I don't think Percy/Thalia would actually work- they'd just end up driving each other crazy/fighting like an old married couple, only with the possibility of killing each other.)
But, again, very well-written.

"XDD Things change, ne. I wrote this in grade eight and after the third book...don't think I had any real idea where anything was going. And GCS is pretty-much corrupted as far as I'm concerned...

But yeah >____> it's completely OOC, if you ask me, and I only keep it for sentimentality reasons. My first PJO fic, after all. And whenever I reread it, I can always spot a billion crude errors and stupid things but whatever. XDD Thanks for reading, anyway.
