I am a practicing Wiccan. I'm afraid to talk about it on my journal. I would love to but am afraid that some of my longtime friends who are devout Christians would ditch me. I was raised Christian and am well aware of the stigma Christianity tries to put on other religions.

Tick tock went the clock.
What a terrible first line for a poem!
I mean, it's just awful!
Do you know how many people
use that exact same line?
I'm just telling it
like it is
and it went
tick tock.
And it did it
again, and again,
and again, and again,
and I couldn't stop it.
Well, now you're just lying.
All right.
It was a digital clock.
But it glowed red,
and it pried open my eyes,
and it blinked at me,
and I couldn't get it
to stop!
Didn't think about
unplugging it, didja,
Einstein?
Now, that's just a
mind-blowing reference,
but I suppose
you're not familiar
with Einstein's discoveries
pertaining to time!
Pshaw: they weren't all that.
I took a piss
