Please, please, please post some more Pets spam. And don't forget to mention the BAD things about it, too, like the scary eyeless horses.

Please.

(I really want real players opinions on this ep--lord help me I don't want it to lure me into TS3 but I think it might)

Of course. I have some pictures of a few wild horses running about already so I'll post those tomorrow ( ... )

Ooh, can't wait for more pics.

Catching your own small pets sounds kind of fun, too. Is it something you could set the kids/teens to doing (I always had so much free time on my hands with those ages in TS2).

I'm also super curious about pet breeding, in particular can you breed large and small sized dogs together and get a mix (that still irks me about TS2, how that didn't work).

And I can't wait to see KITTENS!!

I'm not sure about the large/small interbreeding, but I hope so, it bugged me to not have the mixed breeding in TS2. I know that the paper offers a lot of mutts so the game is pretty much throwing mixed breeds at me constantly. You also have the ability to make CAS pets and put them into households whenever (exactly like regular sims) so having a 'purebreed' line is also possible.

I want kittens too! My stupid computer was struggling today, but I'm just going to turn settings down and go play. Fuzzy animal pictures be damned!

Hey! She'll be my first sim in my new save, yay!

The adult dogs are a lot more fun. I had a puppy for a while, (and yea, cute as a button) but I aged him up after a few days cause my house is on foundation and it couldn't pee outside. I didn't even know puppies couldn't use the toy box. i had already gotten that iams chew toy, and he used that. So when I aged him up, a whole new world opened up for my entertainment. So much more fun. Teaching to hunt and tricks were fun. And when my sim went to work, I took the dog out to sniff for collectibles ( which raises the hunting skill) and he's brought home woohooium and feathers and leaves. Oh! He brought me a huge space rock one time worth $5000! So awesome. I loooove this ep!

Is aging up done with the cake like for the reg sims? Coffee is adorable, but I'm ready for her to be an adult dog. I figured out that I could have Tuesday click on the crate to get the toys out (I thought I'd tried that, but I must not have) so the puppy isn't caught in a loop of chew the paper, get reprimanded.

That is so awesome. When she goes to work I'll have to get Juice the other dog to run around and try that. I'm going to have her train him next time I play. :D This expansion is so much fun, I've been super pleased with it. Even my negatives for it are minor enough that they don't stop me from having a ton of fun (seriously though am I the only one with eyeless horses?).

Omg, no! I noticed the eyes and it's suuuuper creepy. I hope there are defaults made soon. Too much of that and I'll have nightmares!

I agree, the pro's outweigh the con's. I can live without CC, and even enjoy it every once in a while. I take the time to make clean user files and re-evaluate what I really need.

My husband misses me, I have been so absorbed for days now. :D

I forgot to say, I don't know about the aging of pets with the cake. I have master controller and used that. I forget about the cake! :D
