Oh, it's been quite the experience!! Two full days of snow, blowing snow, freezing snow, drifting snow ... just like home!! *g*
Funny to see how folks react to it when they're not used to it. Everything closed up. Everything. All stores, businesses, gas stations, restaurants ... hardly any traffic on the roads at all. Thankfully our hotel was up and running! And the winery where the wedding and reception were held. I'll probably do a write-up after we get home. It's been an interesting few days! Right now, my niece and her new hubby and his two-year-old are in my sister's back yard, where all the family members are gathered, watching the new family build snowmen all over the yard.
Ol' Pep is really tired. Thankfully, I booked Tuesday as a vacation day, to rest up! We should be home Monday evening. Much as the Marriott is a lovely hotel and we've been happy there, I'm anxious to get back to my own bed!
