Gifts for the USS Abraham Lincoln

Okay, a few people indicated they'd be interested in helping send cookies, condiments, etc. to the sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln, who just had their cruise extended for a second time. I generally love sending people things, but I was wondering if they accept packages from countries outside the US. I seem to remember to have heard that that can be problematic?

I don't know, honestly. I don't think it would be a problem so long as the contents were written clearly on the customs form. I can double check with my brother though the next time he emails.

My brother says he isn't aware of any restrictions coming from other countries.

Awesome! In that case I'd love to send something to someone. I have never done this though, so some input on what would be appreciated would be nice. :-)
