You'll have to excuse my lateness. It wasn't slackness, it was actually injury. It was Father's Day here in Australia on Sunday, and I cooked Mr. Minty potstickers. You can't buy these delectable little parcels of deliciousness in Australia - not that I've found. And we both fell in love with them on a trip to Los Angeles. All was going well until

Wasn't it Holly in the rape therapy group? Tara showed up after she got away from Franklin Mott? I wonder how happy Franklin would be if he saw Tara now.

She was in the rape therapy group - and of course, Franklin wouldn't be happy - he was all about ownership, not Tara gaining immortality.

Oh my goodness, you are so right about the pool table at Merlotte's! That's a lot to think about when your slapping your quarters down to play the next game. I hope Sam's got some sanitizer handy.
Thanks for sticking with this till the bitter end. I'm just glad it's done!

Sam is one of the ones *unsanitising* it - that's the infamous pool table where Sam and Daphne screwed. It's seen soooo much action.
I can't say that I'm thinking I'll watch next season. I just don't care about any of the characters. There are occasional funny bits, but nothing beyond that.

I think it's gotten very, very lazy. They haven't bothered to tie anything together and all of their subtext is half-hearted and contradictory.
Tara and Pam - I don't buy it at all. I'm used to seeing that sort of shit in fanfic, from amateurs who are barely tolerant only of fetishised gay scenes, but from a television show? Ugh. And AB's LGBT politics are older than I am. His stereotypes are fucking terrible.
I liked Andy, Sam and Tara this season overall. They provided real entertainment. And I could do with every single week, somehow Sam is skinwalked by someone. He's sooooo good at it.

I think your brain sub-consciously stuck your finger in smoking hot oil so you'd miss the big non-finale. Or at the least it [your brain] would have something to put Stu-Blood into perspective with. I'm just missing mentions of Mr Minty and his nifty summations. Did he have any wisdom to impart this time?

I actually ended up missing the latest "Breaking Bad" so my subconscious is on the fritz then. I had to watch it Tuesday, instead. It was all very sad.
Mr. Minty - it was like the kiss of death from him - he said "I'm going for a shower. It doesn't matter if I miss the first bit of that show. It's boring." I think it'd be doing okay if it created fury - but it's mostly creating boredom. I spent a bit of time looking across at him, fiddling with things.
