Sometimes lessons are great, other times... not so much. My dad bought a piano when I was in high school. I kinda taught myself to play it. I was by no means very good at it, but what I taught myself to play was recognizable (heh) and I played for a couple of hours pretty much every day. My parents kept asking me if I wanted to take lessons but I didn't because I knew that taking lessons would lessen my enjoyment of it. I wasn't terribly serious about it, but I was having fun. If the lessons are making playing less fun for you, I'd say ditch 'em.

It partly depends on if I can get a partial refund if I drop out now. If I can, then I'll probably do that.
If not, then I might try another lesson or so just to see. My gut feeling is that it's not the right fit. If I'm paying for them all anyways, then I might try another one.
Luckily, it's through Parks and Rec, so it's relatively cheap. Of course, that's probably the source of the problem too...
