If you have come here to find Merlin or Star Trek fanfic, I have archived everything at AO3. I've also archived some Band of Brothers, Hot Fuzz, and Original work there as well. If it's not there, then it's simply not available anymore, lost to the sands of time.

Something specific but nothing bad. I need to step up my online presence as an author, especially now that I've written a book to be published under my own name, but I still want this LJ to be about my personal life and fandom. I figure the best way to keep this LJ functioning like it always has is just to lock it.

Lately, I've been toying with the idea of going friends only myself, mainly to prevent spammers which have become something of a problem -- but I'm not sure yet.

Thank you, I love the banners. I'm so glad there are such talented and generous people in Merlin fandom. :)

At least locking everything down for a paid account is simple. I have over 4000 entries. I couldn't imagine doing it by hand...

Hope it wasn't anything to horrid. Seems to be some oddly aggressive fandom behaviour at the moment.

No, nothing to do with fandom! Fandom has been wonderful to me. It's just because of my other projects beyond fandom this year.
