Ever heard of a kind of firework (very popular in the old days - not seen much now) that exploded into the form of a big wheel that would go whirling off in one direction or another? They're called Catherine Wheels (or St. Catherine Wheels, can't remember which). Argh.

My family is big on Toyotas. They always start, even in the winter, even when they have over 200,000 miles on them, even when they are 15 years old. I think Elsa the librarian has a tacoma if you're interested in her opinion. Congrats on moving into an awesome cabin in the woods off the grid.

You beat me to the connection by about 12 hours. The morning after our delightful night of wine and whiteboards I was actually pulling the master cylinder (instead of just getting ready to pull it) and realised that VW Bugs are Fireflies. They brake a lot, you can fix them and jury-rig them, plenty of people think they're worthless and a few people love them unconditionally. Quotes were tripping through my mind all morning proving the theory.

Jealous, jealous, jealous...at least when I don't have a 2 year old. But a piano! And the woods! A truck! A woodstove! (those are my favorite parts...that and the cat, of course.

Sorry to have missed you at practice lately. I don't think I'll be there tomorrow either. It will be the first night I have with Jenn after a long time away. I just can't justify being away one more night. But I will see you soon. I want to hear how the end of Putney was for you.
