Good Things, like Small Children and Kittens

1.) I've been working at the Putney Head Start for a week now. The children are handfuls (some more than others) and also insufferably adorable (some more than others). I love perhaps too easily, and I already love them all very much ( Read more... )

1. And speaking of perks, don't forget nap time.
2. I'm so glad to hear that -- for you and for the other people concerned. Head Start has a hard time finding long-term subs, and these kids _so_ need continuity.
3. OH MY GOD KITTEN!

I wish you luck with the childre. You have far more patience than have I. You job liking you and being able to put money into cars and nest eggs is a thoroughly awesome thing!!

And eeeeeeeeeee kitten! Bliss indeed! Post photos soon of you with the kitten, a) because kittens are adorable, and b) because I haven't a single photo of you, I don't think...

Yay for fixed cars! =)

That sounds wonderful, about your job. I had the same feelings about my stint as a camp counselor, though I must've hated it on some level because I got really sick and had to quit early.

Oh no! Not lonely!

I feel lonely a lot too. Your kitten will help you feel better. You can cover him with love and kisses. And he's coming on my birthday! Eep!

Congratulations on all the good things. I'm glad you like your new job and vice versa. It sounds like a job that is very rewarding for those people that can successfully pull it off. And I'm sure you're one of them.

I hope your new kitten and Pudge can get along. I honestly never cared for cats before I met Pudge but kittens are another story altogether. Kittens are almost as good as puppies.

Waitwaitwait. Meeting PUDGE made you LIKE cats?! Pudge is the first cat I've known that I don't adore . . .

Well, it may have something to do with the fact that I don't live with Pudge. I just get the coming over and lying down to be pet and don't have to deal with the day to day Pudge.

My family never had a cat, so I only ever saw cats at other peoples' houses and they never really wanted anything to do with me. Dogs however will always come over and say hi and let you pet them. I prefer animals that are interested in me. Pudge is a lot friendlier than the other cats I've met.
