As of thirty seconds ago, I have decided that Tuesdays in April will be Poetry Days. Why? Because April is National Poetry Month, because everyone needs more poetry in their lives, and because I say so.

I picked this poem because it's beautiful and hopeful. Me, I need a little hope in my life right now.

There are a few unhappy things, but nothing that talking will really fix. I'm feeling hopeful about most of them, though, so that's positive. Thanks for asking. :-)

Talking doesn't usually solve much, but occasionally it takes the pressure off. At any rate, hope is powerful.

I've been listening to "Spring" repeatedly tonight. it makes me happy. And i'm just dying to learn the chords and all the lyrics so a group of folks with instruments can play it for open mikes or something...I mean, we do have a few fiddlers and penny whistle players in the area...

Same here. ;-) I had it on repeat for a while. I wouldn't mind trying to learn the fiddle bit . . .
