Well well well, so now I am posting on LiveJournal. I am on here mainly to look at all the lolita stuff, but I don't want people to think I'm a troll or a scammer or anything, what with an empty journal and all, so tada! First post.

Actually, it comes to mind that learning some basic blogging skills might not be entirely useless, since I'm to be ( Read more... )

The petticoats I've seen on Bodyline don't look terribly expensive...around $19...though when you tack on the $20 international shipping fee I suppose that gets horribly expensive ^_^;

Nice to meet you, by the way. I saw you in the chigothloli commuunity and I'm new myself. However my first dress I bought offbrand from a Chinese shop and well...we'll just see how passable it looks when it comes in (I guess we all start somewhere hehe) ^_^;

I actually got a Bodyline petti when I ordered my supercute JSK and my cute but enormous shoes last month or so. It is SHORT, or maybe I am exceedingly tall? Works ok, but it's definitely a 19 dollar petti.

Where did you order from? I have been looking at the Chinese shops and wondering; some of them have a decent rep around here, others not so much.

I ordered from a site called Trustedeal. I looked around at the reviews they received on their products, because they don't post pictures of their own things (a major red flag I didn't consider before I ordered. Oops.), but they have received great reviews on their cosplays and also their wedding dresses. All the girls who ordered wedding dresses from them said the dress looked just like the picture and wasn't cheaply made at all. I also talked to their customer service rep and she assured me that if I disliked it I could return the JSK, but she promised me only the best quality in my replica.

So basically this could be a hit or miss. I don't feel so bad though because I hear a lot of beginners kind of start out as ita and improve over the years. ^_^
