Haha I totally remember reading that Queer Eye fic where they fix up Jack. Never watched that show, but the fic was entertaining.

I think they got the guys down perfectly - it was funny, because I got into both shows at about the same time, so I did idly think, "I bet Jack would hate this..." *g*

2. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (I found a Stargate crossover fic once! They fixed up Jack! It was such a thrill.)

I MUST KNOW.

Also, I must see this Wooster and Jeeves show. My boyfriend was talking about it, and it sounds awesome.

And do you recommend getting into Red Dwarf?

Jeeves and Wooster is awesome. Fry and Laurie all dressed up in period clothing and bantering awesome dialog and funny, FUNNY stories. Totally worth the price of purchase.

Queer Eye - the Jack O'Neill Edition, by Aeryn (Sam/Jack, rated Older Kids)
- Part One
- Part Two
- Part Three

Jeeves & Wooster is fantastic. Red Dwarf... Well, I don't know if I'd recommend it. I love it partly for nostalgia, but it might be a bit dated now. The best seasons are apparently 3 - 6. I had a quick scan on YouTube, and the best example of an episode I could find was this -
- Part One
- Part Two
- Part Three

If you like that, it's what Red Dwarf does best - scruffy, funny imitations of classic scifi cliches. The characters are Lister (last surviving human due to being cryogenically frozen on a spaceship for millions of years), Rimmer (a hologram of his now-deceased supervisor), Cat (an evolved cat), and Kryten (a robot). Oh, and Holly, the ship's computer. Red Dwarf is the name of the spaceship.

Oh, man. Poor Jack! But so necessary!

All I have to say about Red Dwarf is this:
Comitee for the
Liberation and
Integration of
Terrifying
Organisms and their
Rehabilitation
Into
Society

*points up*

But you will not like, I fear. Iz Sam/Jack. Although that's mostly just at the end. :)

They SO should. I couldn't bear to watch the series with Jason Connery, but I have heard he's not very good. I never forgave them, either. Heh.

I nearly met Michael Praed once. I was working at a casting studio, and he was due to come in for a casting. I was in a total state - the same as I would be if RDA happened to be coming to my work today. Then he never turned up. Probably a good thing all round; he was my first crush, and that's... just too precious a memory for me. You know? :)

Oh Robin of Sherwood!!

*gets all nostalgic and teary eyed*

Also, Black Books should be compulsory viewing for everybody!

Heh, you too? *g* (It was so good! Aside from some of the haircuts. But the costumes, the sets, the grubby authenticity - the Sheriff! One of my all-time favourite villains. "It's a wedding, Gisburne, not a celebration!")

I have a campaign going to get everyone watching Black Books. As far as I can tell, it's not doing that well - but I persist. I'm working on kalquessa at the moment, as she's actually opening a bookshop (which is an awesome thing to do).
